### Independent Contractors

All cooks, private chefs, pop-up operators, and caterers listed on YumYum are independent contractors. They are **not employees, agents, or representatives** of YumYum. All arrangements, agreements, and transactions are made directly between the service provider and the client.

### No Guarantees or Endorsements

- **YumYum does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or suitability** of any service provider, their food, or their services.
- We do **not endorse, warrant, or guarantee** any individual or business listed on the platform.

### No Background or Certification Checks

- YumYum **does not conduct background checks** (criminal, professional, or otherwise) on any cooks, chefs, pop-ups, or caterers.
- We **do not verify or validate** any food safety certifications, handling or sanitation practices, or other credentials.
- YumYum **does not confirm** whether service providers maintain active liability insurance or any other insurance coverage.

### Customer Responsibility

- **All decisions regarding hiring, booking, or engaging with a cook, chef, pop-up, or caterer are the sole responsibility of the customer.**
- Customers are encouraged to perform their own due diligence, ask for proof of insurance or certifications, and use their best judgment before engaging any service provider.
- Any agreements, arrangements, or disputes that arise are strictly between the customer and the service provider.

### Limitation of Liability

- YumYum’s role is limited to providing a platform for connection and communication.
- **We are not responsible or liable** for any issues, damages, losses, injuries, or disputes that may arise from interactions, transactions, or services provided by users of the platform.
- YumYum does **not mediate or resolve disputes** between customers and service providers.

### Platform Use

- By using YumYum, you acknowledge and agree that the platform is **solely a facilitator** and is not responsible for the actions, omissions, or representations of any user, cook, chef, pop-up, or caterer.
- YumYum reserves the right to remove any user or listing that violates our terms of use or community guidelines.
